Bigger and better than ever say the shellfish festival organisers
Woodbridge’s shellfish and food festival returns for the fourth year with orgainisers promising it to be the ‘biggest and best’ yet.
The Woodbridge Shuck Shellfish Festival will celebrate not only fish but also quality produce when it sets up camp in a new venue from October 8-11.
The festival plays host to an exciting programme of events over the four days with Thursday and Friday seeing the return of the hugely popular Shuck Shack pop-up restaurant situated near Woodbridge Tide Mill and organised by Bespoke Events. Stephen David and team will be serving up local shellfish at this unique venue.
On Saturday, October 10, the Shuck has partnered up with Choose Woodbridge’s What’s Tasty? food producers market on Market Hill. On the afternoon of Sunday, October 11 there is Seafood Sunday, by the Tea Huts, a Shuck Off: Oyster Shucking Competition. On Sunday evening there is a Safari Supper in Woodbridge.
The shuck is an official Fringe Event of the Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival. Visit: www.thewoodbridgeshuck.org.uk
