• Lynford Arboretum, Thetford Forest
Significant for its variety of wildlife from birds to fungi and of course, beautiful flora, Lynford Arboretum is lit up with autumn colour during the onset of the colder months. There are three walking trails to explore the arboretum in all its colour.
Dogs are welcome and there’s even an agility course for them.
• Christchurch Park, Ipswich
Over 33 hectares in the heart of Ipswich, Christchurch Park has brought beautiful autumn colour to the town every year since 1895.
This park is a great spot to take the kids for some fresh air - spot as many different types of tree in their autumn glory.
The East Bergholt garden and arboretum was originally laid by the owner’s great grandfather. It now contains the National Collection of Deciduous Euonymus.
