Photographer Will Black captures the cold beauty of the Suffolk countryside around his home at Great Ashfield

As is highly evident from the pictures here, Will Black enjoys capturing rural Suffolk scenes.
West Suffolk-based Wills passion for photography stems from the interaction of light within the vast open skies of Suffolk. Always with a camera, his aim is to capture brief moments in time and he loves to find the image that creates an inspiring picture, sometimes bringing to the fore a landscapes undiscovered qualities.
Will recently spent some time studying digital graphics with German born photographer Mike Chen learning to manipulate images to create stunning photograhic art. He currently uses a Canon EOS 7D and keeps a G9 hidden away as well.
Although he is passionate about the traditional landscape, nature and travel photography, Wills work goes beyond that. A keen motor racer and countryman; he has an eye for a picture and likes to draw out the emotional property vested in human imaginations.
At the end of 2010 he spent a month in South Africa with Durban based photographer Emil Von Maltitz and earlier in the year he helped out with a Corsican photo shoot and also spent time at the Canon training centre.
Several of Wills images have been published in magazines and books, and he was a finalist in the Conde-Naste travel photo awards of 2010.

Private commissions undertaken. Contact him via his website www.willblack.co.uk or call him on 07776 172842.
