With so much going on around Suffolk this weekend, it’s not easy to decide what amazing events you’ll be attending. Allow our handy guide to 5 things to do make that decision a little easier!
Kids go Free at Africa Alive – February 16 – 24
For every person that pays full admission to this zoo near Kessingland, one child will receive free admission – the perfect deal for families this February half term.
Make sure you download your voucher for the event from the link above before going.
Wildlife Trail at Nowton Park – February 16 – 24
Pick up your quiz sheet from the Grounds café and make your way along the trail while doing your best to work out the many wildlife-themed clues. Once you’ve completed the trail head back to the café to collect your prize.
Trail sheets are £1 and it runs from 10am to 3pm.
Fun Time Circus at Stonham Barns – February 21 – 23
Enjoy side-splitting slapstick humour from this duo who regularly tour East Anglia with their combination of comedy, magic and illusions. There will also be a variety of circus performers on show during the event.
All tickets are £10. The show starts at 2pm.
RingQuest at West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village – February 16 – 24
The village’s popular Lord of the Rings themed challenge is back for another year. Find the rings and runes dotted around Middle Earth and stay safe from Mirkwood spiders and a dragon guarding his gold.
The event runs between 10am and 5pm each day. Adults are £6 and children over five are £3.
Sutton Hoo Roadshows – February 22 – 23
As this iconic National Trust site continues to undergo essential transformation works, the roadshow counterpart continues its tour around the county. On Friday it rolls into Stoke Library and the following day it’ll pop up at Woodbridge Library.
The event is free.
