Experience the sights, sounds and smells of the machines of yesteryear at the Museum of East Anglian Life Steam and Crafts Weekend August 9 and 10.
You can also see and have a go at a range of crafts and skills, make your own poster on the museum’s original 1870 Colombia printing press and see the current exhibition Everybody’s Darling: the First World War Nurse. During the weekend, the museum will also host its 12th Steam Engine Driver Training Event, which teaches students the basics of engine ownership, maintenance and use, encouraging them to work alongside experienced local steam engine owners.
