Craig Jarvis, director of Ravenwood Hotels and serial adventurer, is facing one of his biggest challenges to date.

Craig is raising vital funds for the Ravenwood Children’s Trust which will be used to support St Nicholas Hospice and the Children’s Rainbow Ward of West Suffolk Hospital, as well as the Odanadi Project in India.

He will take part in back to back challenges – a 310-mile cycle ride to mark the 40th anniversary of the plane crash in which 18 members of Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club lost their lives, followed by the Tenzing-Hillary Everest Marathon, one of the most gruelling trail runs in the world.

Money raised from the cycle ride will also be used to provide permanent lighting for the rugby club’s youth team.

The Odanadi project (www.odonadi.org) is building a safe house for children rescued from trafficking in India. Craig has already raised £10,000 for the safe house and now aims to finish a food hall and training room for the children.
