Come and join the Suffolk Singers’ choral workshop

All are being invited to join a choral workshop with a free public performance set for October. Suffolk Singers will put on its fifth Choral Workshop – Famous Opera Choruses, which will be led by music director and former principal soprano at ENO Claire Weston on Sunday, October 18.

The workshop costs £17 which will goes towards supporting the loan of the music, expert professional tuition, refreshments and cakes during the interval between the rehearsal and the performance.

“It is helpful but not essential, if participants have a little previous experience of singing with a choir or reading music, but if you’ve never tried anything like this before, come along and have a go as you will be given lots of support,” said a spokesperson.

The workshop takes place at Framlingham College between 9.30am- 5pm. The free public performance takes place at 4.30pm. Tickets cost £17 adult and under 19s go free.
