Bang & Olufsen in Colchester hosted a casino evening in support of local charity the Dame Vera Lynn Trust.

The showroom was transformed into a gaming room, where VIP guests – arriving via a red carpet – exchanged a £20 donation for £100 worth of fun money to play the roulette and black jack tables.

The evening proved a great success with more than £1,200 being raised for the charity.

Store owner Robert Smith said: “We have been in Colchester High Street for a long time now and wanted to give something back to the local area.

“Supporting the Dame Vera Lynn Trust is a real pleasure – the team there do such a fantastic job of supporting families struggling with cerebral palsy.”
