With expertly kept local ales, delicious food and a number of well-appointed rooms it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that The Crown has been chosen in the latest edition of the Good Pub Guide.

The pub was nominated by customers and mystery judges then visited to try their food and give them the award reports the EADT.

The Crown - located on Park Street - was only taken over by its new owners in August 2019 who have been able to maintain the high standards set by the previous landlords.
