Judges were looking for fantastic pubs across Suffolk that have created a distinct and high quality offering for their customers.

Winner: The Eel’s Foot Inn

Customers said that The Eels Foot always offers a warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere and outstanding food. Described as ‘A gem’ and a ‘go to pub for lunch or dinner that’s highly recommended’.

Highly Commended: The Ferryboat Inn

This pub is favoured by its customers for a good selection of ales, locally sourced food, and friendly staff, allows dogs and even has blankets for outside seating. Customer service is said to be brilliant and they go out of their way to make sure every aspect is to the best standard.

Highly Commended: The Woolpack

The Woolpack has been a fantastic addition to Ipswich, greatly enhancing the geographical area. Customers said that Marita, the landlady, has brilliantly transformed a tired worn out pub, into a traditionally modern country styled pub.
