All the workshops held upstairs at the award winning Lavenham Farmers’ Market are small in number, informal and fun, and packed full of information.

Mena Boughey, one of the region’s very best Indian cooks, with over 30 years home cooking experience, will be hosting this very popular workshop, which concentrates on the best fresh ingredients to use when cooking curry.

Mena’s cooking will truly delight the senses with the aromas and colours of Indian cooking as she demonstrates how to create the perfect blend of exotic spices. There will be plenty of opportunity to get involved and to taste and sample her amazing creations.

Tickets cost £25, which includes at least one hour’s demonstration with the chance to sample lots of dishes. Refreshments will be provided and everyone leaves with a Suffolk Market Events Goodie Bag complete with recipe ideas and tasty curry samples.

Spaces can be booked, with no booking fee, via Eventbrite (Upstairs @ the Market) or directly from Suffolk Market Events on 07704 627973 or by emailing justine@suffolkmarketevents.co.uk
