Winner: Applaud Coffee

Judges were impressed by the convivial atmosphere created at this café, which is run by two sisters. They liked the warm welcome as they walked in the door, and the good display of cakes and local produce in the front room.

Highly Commended: Darsham Nurseries Café

Judges liked the fact this café had a bit of a buzz about it and was nothing like an ordinary garden shop café. The menu was very interesting and clearly influenced by the seasons. Neither the drinks nor food could be faulted, being full of flavour and presented very well.

Highly Commended: The Old Stores Staff at this very unique tearoom were noted by judges to be particularly warm, and enthusiastic, making them feel right at home straight away. The building, said judges, was very special indeed and decorated beautifully, making it a real destination visit for that special occasion.
