It’s that time of year . . . when nothing goes down better under the evening sun than a refreshing glass of something cool and dry
The Moet Hennessy Night at the Salthouse Harbour Hotel Eaterie on Tuesday, July 7 fits the bill. Mark Thompson from Moet Hennessey will be showing some of the superb wine Moet has to offer – its impressive Champagne selection, of course, but also its aromatic pinot noir from New Zealand’s Cloudy Bay. Treat yourselves – £52 per guest, arrival by 7pm to start at 7.30pm.
On the other side of the county Tim Fogarty, from Kim Crawford Wines, will host a New Zealand night at The Angel Hotel Eaterie on Friday, July 10.
You can taste a brilliant selection of Kim’s honest and exuberant wines – wonderful sauvignons to taste alongside some other fine grape varieties. £45 per guest, arrival by 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
