Annie Averdieck opened Bathsheba Spa two years ago after a total refurbishment. Bathsheba is a ‘small, but perfectly formed’, boutique day spa right in the centre of Woodbridge. “Our aim is to provide a little oasis of calm from the everyday routine,” said Annie. “We offer a full range of luxury beauty treatments as well as ‘no nonsense’ beauty maintenance in lovely surroundings,” she added.

“Exclusive to Suffolk, we use REN Clean Skincare and all therapists are fully REN trained. If you haven’t tried a REN facial, you should!” Annie said.

So what does Annie carry in her handbag?

Annie’s handbag

As a busy, life-juggling mother/business owner, I am infamous for my Mary Poppins’ style large handbags and I am pretty horrified by the prospect of revealing the contents of it! I’m not hugely brand conscious, I just know what I like and often find a handbag I can’t live without at Zara or Anthropologie. My current handbag plus matching makeup bag is from Collen and Clare in Aldeburgh. I did splash out on a Marc Jacobs’ tote a few years ago which is still going strong - fabulous.

AMBER Eau de Toilette by Laboratory Perfumes. I love this scent as it is so light and natural.

Make up

I don’t wear much make up, but usually I have a Benefit blusher and mascara in my bag (if my daughter hasn’t pinched them!).

White iphone (screen currently uncracked).

REN Rescue Kit

My kit includes the instant brightening eye lift, vita mineral lip balm and the ultra moisture day cream. I also use a Ren glow oil as it’s really moisturising with a slight shimmer. I usually use this in the summer.

Jessica Phenomen Oil

It nourishes each nail with just one drop per day!

I’m a papergirl! I use a Marjolein Delhaas diary. I bought it from Vanil (over the road) in Woodbridge.

A sharp pencil - I concentrate better with a pencil in my hand, but it has got to be sharp.

My wallet is from Anthropologie. It holds all the usual things inlcuding cash, cards and photos of my loved ones
