Make a date for Midsummer’s Day

Organisers of this year’s Woodbridge Regatta and Riverside Fair, will be held on Midsummer’s Day, Sunday, June 21 with a whole host of activities set for the day.

Activities start at noon and last until 5.15pm with Songs of Praise held at the Bandstand in the town.

There will be yacht and dinghy races, rowing and tender racing as well as the single oar sculling race in memory of Frank and Christine Knights, along the River Deben.

The hotly contested raft race organised by 1st Woodbridge Scout Group is back by popular demand and there will be free boat trips up and down the river. There will be a Children’s Activity Centre in the Bandstand offering face painting and a variety of games and craft activities where children can also sign up for the crabbing competition.
