The Museum of East Anglian Life’s Festival of Beer and Brewing puts in its 18th appearance at the Stowmarket venue from June 26-29.

Featuring more than 70 East Anglian real ales and ciders, all within the museum’s atmospheric 13th century barn, the festival, which is run in association with CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) will be bigger and better than ever.

The Annual Festival of Beer and Brewing is a great chance to celebrate a local brewing tradition and enjoy a taste of the region’s local brews. There will be live music and a barbecue provided by The Osier cafe.

This year’s beer glass logo is 70s inspired andwouldn’t have looked out of place back at the Barsham fairs. The museum has run a number of 70s themed events and activities this year as part of Escape to the Country and its Saving the 70s project.

Organisers say the beer festival captures the spirit of the 70s fairs with good ale, live music, fun, games and most importantly people coming together and having a good time.

Admission: £2.50 or included in standard museum admission during the day. Museum and CAMRA members free with a valid membership card.
