Happy hour is available on Wednesday and Thursday from 5-7pm, Friday 5-6pm, Saturday 4-5pm and Sunday 6-7pm on marked cocktails - that’s two cocktails for £10!

2. Degeros

Degeros, located just a small distance away from the town centre offers a sweet and simple cocktail menu that can be enjoyed in a relaxed and comfortable environment. It is a great place to visit if you want to avoid being amidst the hustle and bustle of the busy centre. Simply perfect for drinks and quiet conversation with friends, their Happy hour is available every day 5-8pm and offers two for £8 on selected cocktails.

3. Ipswich Wine Bar

Situated in the heart of Ipswich city centre just off the main strip Ipswich Wine Bar has one of the best selections of boutique cocktails in town. Their extensive cocktail menu offers all the classics, including sours, margaritas, mojitos, martinis, daiquiris and shooters all at reasonable prices. The bar stays open late and provides a more upbeat and lively atmosphere with an eclectic range of music from funk, soul and relaxed RnB.

4. Revolution

Ipswich bar Revolution provides a range of scrumptious cocktails with a twist as they are all prepared in unique and distinctive ways. Their popular Blue Movie includes Absolut Berri Açaí vodka, Blue Curaçao, lemon, apple juice and lemonade and is served in a milk bottle to finish. Pitchers, jar glasses and coffee style plastic cups are amongst a few of the different serving styles they offer adding a touch of flair to your cocktail evening. As a well established chain, Revolution is a reliable option and will guarantee you a delicious cocktail. ‘2-4-1’ cocktails are available Monday to Friday from 5-7pm.

5. Aqua Eight

Guests are encouraged to try something new from their wonderful cocktail menu like a Mixed Berry Ling Ling which is made up of belvedere mint leaves, strawberries, mixed berries, lime and soda. Or perhaps the Chinese Green Dragon, which is composed of banana liqueur, Malibu, melon liqueur, pineapple or the very berry, stoli vanilla vodka, fresh berries, soda and syrup. Two for £15 on cocktails are available everyday up to 10pm.

6. Bowmans Bar

Bowmans Bar is a lively place to enjoy a cocktail in a bustling atmosphere complete with DJ’s, live music and shooters. Their cocktail menu is a tantalising mix of the old classics and modern inventive concoctions, the important thing, it that there is something for everyone. All of the cocktails are prepared fresh and by hand by a member of their experienced staff right before your eyes!

7. Cosy Club, Ispwich

The Cosy Club is a bar and restaurant that embraces eccentricities, their wonderfully outlandish cocktail menu offers long, short and sparkling drinks in some amazing combinations including experimental Salted Caramel Alexander, Fig Roll and Treacle Chase.
