A right tonic for gin drinking brokers

While the economic crisis has left brokers not the most popular people in the world, one particular namesake is bucking the trend

For the fourth year in a row, Shepperton’s own Broker’s Gin has claimed the title of world’s best tasting gin from under the noses of the gin-making giants.

"This was a real David and Goliath moment for us,” says Weybridge resident Martin Dawson, who founded the company in 1998 with his brother Andy, an East Molesey resident.

“The Ultimate Spirits Challenge in New York is the equivalent of the Hollywood Oscars for us, and so we were very surprised that a distinguished panel of judges chose our gin above a host of other famous gins. And in a blind tasting, too.”

We’ll certainly be raising a glass to this Surrey pair, and with the recipe below maybe you’ll join us!
